Question by Kel M: Best place for a family christmas ski holiday?
Ideally would like somewhere that also offers other activities i.e swimming pool, ice skating etc Child friendly too (10yr old to keep happy) Preferably not overly expensive?? Canada, Austria, Switzerland?? Any1 no where is best????

My dad took me to snowbasin in Park City, Utah. It was amazing. we saw so many people from europe who came here because it was the same as skiing in he alps, only cheaper. It was awesome.

Preferablly around the GTA area. I always have a problem with women’s sizes being too big, but the kid’s sizes just don’t fit me right. I need to know a good place that has ski stuff for teens.

Before you start calling me a pervert, I heard of people wearing a diaper while skiing. I have a really really small bladder and I have to go to the restroom at least every hour. This is really annoying when I ski. Does anyone else have this problem? Do people really do that?

I have never heard of anyone doing that. I did hear about people in China wearing Depends on the long train rides home for Chinese New Year though! They do have bathrooms at the lodges when you ski.

Question by Alex R: How crowded is Jackson Hole during the weeks of February vacation compared to Aspen or Snowmass?
I’m considering planning a family ski vacation to either Jackson hole or aspen. All members of my family are expert skiers. Unfortunately, the only time we are available to go is during the most crowded time of the year: Feb vacation. ( usually the same week as presidents week). I was just wondering which resort will be the least crowded at this time.

I haven’t ever been to Aspen, but I would say go to Jackson Hole. It won’t be too crowded in February and Jackson is beautiful!

I was watching Jackass and got to thinking… How come no one has just walked into a bank with a ski mask on and just walked up the encounter and just be like hey can i make a deposit? Could you actually get in trouble if your only motive is to deposit money in your bank account. I think it would be pretty funny. Anyone know if you could get in trouble?

There are tons of holiday packages to Vancouver – the problem might be that you are specifying Richmond, which isn’t really a tourist destination. Try going to HelloBC.com and following some of the links there. Or look for a Vancouver website.

Um it doesn’t really matter. When I go skiing, my friends and I usually just walk around in our ski gear for a while, then change into like some pants and a thermal long sleeve shirt. Hats are good to wear around too. But other than that, no one really cares what you look like, because all they (and you, hopefully) care about is how good the snow was that day.

Don’t worry about what to wear.
